Mavic and Luke's first time playing in the snow!

Since today we woke up to about 6 inches of snow we decided to go out early and play in the snow.  Today was a HUGE deal because today was the first time that Mavic allowed us to put on snow clothes and that he was interested in going outside to play in snow.  Hunter was SO excited because he finally has brothers that want to play with him - poor guy!  This was also Luke's first time playing in the snow and he LOVED it.  He is just like Hunter - he goes and goes and goes until he is a Popsicle, and then plays some more.

Hunt and Mav getting ready to go outside.

No tears from Mavic - AMAZING!!!

Luke looks like Randy from Christmas Story

Hunter pulling Mav and Luke

Luke after he face planted it in the snow - they took the corner too fast - too funny!

I love this picture - he is so stickin' cute!

Hunter - my favorite 1st born child!  He really is the BEST older brother, especially with how patient he is with Mavic.

Happy Halloween

Here is our halloween family picture.....

Oh, that's right, I once again forgot to take a picture of our sweet costumes.  I forget every year, what is wrong with me?

Our Vegas Trip

We got to go Vegas with some friends to go see a moto race.  We had so much fun and wished it was a longer trip.  Spencer talked me into having him fly us to Vegas for our trip.

Spencer doing his pre-flight check so that we don't go down in a fiery ball of flame.

Here we are before we took off - that is why we are still smiling!

Our in flight meal, although it didn't come with a flight attendant.

We MADE it!  I have to say he was such an amazing pilot - way better than I thought he would be :)

We got to go to the Las Vegas Temple.  It was one of the prettiest and unique temples I have ever been in.

We went with our friends to the Mob museum.  It was pretty interesting, but a little long.  I did like finally being able to see actual crime scene pictures that weren't censored - crazy!

.

I got to do something that I have always wanted to do.  To bad it didn't take!

I had more pictures on my phone, but of course I forgot to send them to me before I got my new phone :(

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we decided to carve our pumpkins that we got from Uncle Dave and Aunt Danielle's pumpkin patch.  The weather was perfect and Luke was in bed - it was a peaceful night :).  I just realized I didn't take an after picture of the boy's pumpkins - I will have to do that later.  This is the first year Hunter actually got to carve his own pumpkin - he was so proud of his work!

Grace couldn't get enough of the pumpkin pieces

FHE - Corn Maze & More

For our family home evening last Monday we decided to go to a local farmer's corn maze and pumpkin patch.  It was such a fun night and even Spencer was able to come with us - we don't get a lot of these family night outs!

This is the best we could do for a posed picture!

Grace's first family outing - she was my most behaved!

This slide was SO fast!

This is Mavic's 2nd time on a pony - the 1st time he kicked the pony, this time no kicking!

I have a little secret to share with all of you.

I am a little embarrassed to admit this, but I am kind of a superstitious person.  For example, if I have a choice of picking from several objects of different colors, I will ALWAYS pick the green color. I like to think it brings me good luck.  From time to time I will make myself pick a different color just to prove to myself that I can, but I don't like the feel of doing that.  I really feel that my birthday numbers bring me good luck and I will always use those numbers when numbers are called for.  I have always been drawn to mysteries and conspiracy theories.  I believe in the Big Foot and my dream vacation is to be able to tour area 51.  Now that you all know this, what I am about to tell you may make a little more sense or you will just roll your eyes while reading this post.

A few days ago our family was on the deck when a Magpie came up and landed on our railing.  It scared me to death because it was just staring at us and those birds give me the heebie jeebies.  I of course saved myself and ran inside shuting the screen door behind me, letting my children and husband fend for themselves.  The strangest thing happend after I ran inside - it wouldn't leave.  It didn't seem scared of us even with my boys trying to grab at it.  Then it decided to come down onto our deck following our boys around - so weird!  Okay, so this is where my superstitious ways come into play.  If you have a lone magpie come to you, it means sorrow is near. The reason that is inside me tells me this is cookoo to believe this, but I just can't help it.  Let's hope I am wrong!

My 4 boys, or should I say my three boys and one girl.

We went to the park in between Conference sessions on Sunday.  While we were there Spencer tried teaching Hunter how to swing by pumping his legs.  Look below at the pictures to see how Spence is using his legs to swing.  I was dying laughing at how perfectly pointed he had them when he would swing his legs backwards - so dainty!  I sure love all those boys - and they are all mine :)
