Family Movie Night

Tonight we had our very first family movie night with our whole family.  We finally watched Tangled and loved it.  Hunter had already seen it with his Grandparents and so he filled us in on the whole story line within the first 30 minutes (so that we weren't scared or worried).  Mavic even stayed and watched with us the whole time - he never does that so that meant the world to me.  I really love my little family!!

Our Happy Boy!!

For those of you who don't know - we have a brown eyed boy!

It looks like he is enjoying his first movie!

Mavic is mad at me because he doesn't want his picture taken - what a Diva!

And then the next second he is smiling - see what I mean - DIVA!

Isn't Spencer dreamy??

At least Spencer is smiling in this one.
PS - I found out during the movie tonight that Spencer really likes Mimes.  I will be honest it is a little weird to me :)
PSS - I do really love being the only girl in my family.  I love my boys!

Hunter's 1st Soccer Game

Hunter's Occupational Therapist happens to be a soccer coach in our city and was able to convince Hunt to join his team this season.  He was really nervous at first, but ended up having the best time.  Hunter, even with all of his fears, is really good at making new friends, so he already has a few friends on his team.  The best part of the day was that Hunter was picked to be the first goalie and he was able to block 4 balls.  We were so proud of him and the best thing was that he was so proud of himself.  Between swimming and soccer we have seen an increase of confidence in himself - which is an answer to prayers.

Hunter in Sharing Time

For those of you that don't know this, Hunter says what is ever on his mind and he always says it loudly.  I am in primary and so I am always nervous about what Hunter is going to do or say.  For those of you that remember - Hunter double flipped off the primary.  Well this past Sunday I was doing the sharing time and we were talking about the Savior and why we celebrate Easter.  He yells out and corrects me, "No mom - we celebrate Jesus at Christmas and the Easter Bunny at Easter." I corrected him and he says, "How many times a year do we celebrate Him?"

Also, a couple weeks ago in primary someone was teaching about how the Savior served people on the earth.  He yells out, "Santa does the same things".  It looks like we are really teaching him well.

"That lady looks familiar"

So we were in Sacrament Meeting two weeks ago when Hunter (in a Hunter loud whisper) says that the woman in front of us looks familiar (by the way, she is Asian).  Then he says, "Oh, I know where I have seen her - at that resteraunt with Grandpa and Grandma."  He was talking about a Chinese Buffet.  Spencer and I kept trying to shoosh him, but he kept going on and on about seeing her working there.  Oh, Hunter!!

Luke's 1st Teeth

I am a little late at posting this, but Luke got his first teeth a month ago - at 5 months old (crazy)!  The doctor thought that I was imagining that he was teething, but see I wasn't.  When are doctors ever going to learn that moms always know?  He is now working on his top 2 teeth - here we go again!

I can't seem to get this picture turned right and it is a little blurry.

Mavic's Dream Come True

Mavic loves rainbows - he draws them all the time and he flaps his arms when he sees them on the T.V.  Well, the other day after a storm we had a huge perfect rainbow over the lake.  I told Mavic to come on the deck to see the rainbow.  He came running out and stopped in his tracks and with the biggest smile he said, "Ahh, a RAINBOW"  I wish you could hear the way he said it - it melted my heart.  I think I made a dream come true for him!!

Luke's New Love

Luke is loving his Johnny Jumper.  I finally have something that I can put him in so that I can make dinner without him crying - yea!!  I wish I could figure out how to post a video because it is hilarious to see his chubby legs jumping up and down.

This is Luke's typicall look - his mouth loves his hands!

Have I mentioned....

how naughty Mavic is.  Here he is getting into our child proof locked cabinet where all of our medicine is.  The little booger pushed our bench over, climbed up and somehow opened the lock.  When I first came in to the kitchen he was standing on the counter opening boxes of medicine.  This picture is of him getting down because he was busted!

Hunter learning how to swim - hopefully!

Hunter has taken swimming level 2 twice now and the swimming instructor told him that he needs to take it again.  I think they just want more of my money, but they say it is because he can't float.  My poor boys are just built solid so they are like anchors in water.  Spencer and I are always joking how Hunter will be 12 years old and still wearing a life jacket in the pool.

Notice the sweet goggles - he likes to have the ends sticking out.  One of the things I love most about Hunter is that he wears whatever he wants (like his red pants with a turquoise shirt) and doesn't care what others think.  Let's be honest - it drives me cookoo!
We finally were able to get Hunter to dive under water without goggles on - that was worth the $40.00!

Ridin' with Dad

One of the boy's favorite things to do is to ride on their dad's dirt bike with him up the mountain behind our house.  This isn't however one of my favorite things!  Here are some pictures of Mav and Spence heading up to the mountain.  It amazes me that Mavic even lets us put a helmet on him - he is a walking bobble head!
